The Seven Paths, in all its splendour starts off with an equally grand welcome after which the guests would be able to have some much needed rest at a luxurious hotel in Negombo. This tour consists of 7 nights and 8 days. You will experience the beautiful Negombo lagoon and beach, ancient world heritage sites, Buddhist temples, Elephant orphanage and rural village with local interactions. Further you will get the coolest climate experience with picturesque view in hill country with tea plucking activity.

  • Day 1 AIR PORT | NEGOMBO

    Ayubowan! You have arrived at Sri Lanka. You are welcomed by Ceylon Gate Travel’s representative and take care of your fatigue after long hours of journey by air, and make you relax in a hotel in Negombo with all that care! Where you can enjoy the beauty of sunset and sandy beach.

  • Day 2 NEGOMBO | HABARANA
    DEPARTURE TO DAMBULLA TO VISIT THE CAVE TEMPLE

    A cave declared as a temple in the 2 BC, with 153 Buddha statues, three statues of kings and four statues of gods and goddess inside! With 2100 sq meters of murals! On a stone cliff face. It is 200m above from the surroundings that you can walk up in 30 minutes. Another world heritage site declared by UNESCO in the year 1991.

  • Day 3 HABARANA | SIGIRIYA |POLONNARUWA| HABARANA
    VISIT SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS

    Do you like to have a walk into a Palace on a rock! Where there is a water garden, frescos, and a mirror wall! Built in the 4 century AD, another world heritage site declared by UNESCO in the year 1982.

    VISIT POLONNARUWA ANCIENT CITY

    During the day, you will get the opportunity to explore medieval capital of Sri Lanka- Pollonnaruwa. Have you ever heard of an Ocean inside the country? Then you are there in a reservoir built in the 11 century which is called “Ocean of the great king Parakaramabahu”! then you can visit the ancient site on a guided cycle ride, which takes approximately 2 to 3 hours.

  • Day 4 HABARANA | MATALE | KANDY

    Sri Lanka is famous for its best Cinnamon and other spices, here you will enjoy the tour inside the garden where you can touch and feel the plants that produce it! And you will be amazed to hear about the medicinal properties of ingredients used in cooking and treatments. On conclusion proceed to Kandy.

    CITY TOUR OF KANDY

    The most important temple for the Buddhist all over the world! Mainly for the left canine tooth of Buddha is placed inside a seventh golden casket! Further you can experience the pilgrims who come in white dress and the way of worship! It is a great cultural experience of its kind!

    CULTURAL DANCE PERFORMANCE

    Enjoy one hour of Sri Lankan classical dance! There are three styles of traditional dance in Sri Lanka. They differ in their styles of body-movements and gestures, in the costumes worn by the performers, and in the shape and size of the drums used to provide rhythmic sound patterns to accompany the dancing. It features a highly developed system of "tala" (rhythm), provided by cymbals called "thalampata".

  • Day 5KANDY| NUWARAELIYA | KANDY
    VISIT A TEA PLANTATION

    The best Ceylon tea in a lush green mountain site, with an experience of tea plucking by yourself! Then a nice fresh cup of tea or tea-coffee mix. A different experience with your partners!

    CITY TOUR IN NUWARA ELIYA AND BACK TO KANDY

    The coldest city in Sri Lanka is Nuwara Eliya, average temperature is of 20.2 C annually. Its popular as little England due the climate and building architecture of British style that was built during the colonial period of the country in 19 AD.

  • Day 6 KANDY | PINNAWALA | KANDY
    DEPARTURE TO PINNAWALA

    It is a world renounced place for caring of elephants who are homeless and helpless from the habitat. Today the government looks after over 75 elephants who are either dislocated, injured or born at the same place. In this orphanage over 20 baby elephants were born, and many were released to the forests. As they are taken to the Maha Oya river daily, you get the opportunity to watch elephant bathing from the near by restaurants.

    VISIT PERADENIYA ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDEN

    A historical pleasure garden started by the ancient kings since 1371, later converted to a Royal Botanical garden in 1843. It has over 4000 species of plants including palm trees, Cactus, Orchids, and medicinal plants. Alexandrine parakeet, Indian pitta, Ceylon small barbet, common hawk cuckoo is seen in this garden for the lucky guests like you!

  • Day 7 KANDY | COLOMBO

    On arrival commence city/shopping tour in Colombo. You will have the opportunity to visit the capital of Sri Lanka including a city tour on your way, and to do some shopping together!

  • Day 8 COLOMBO | AIRPORT

    Return you by way of a scenic drive to the international airport for your departing flight and a safe journey home.
